  • IPA Seminars - Gimborn 2007
    Information on all Themes and Dates of Seminars being held in Gimborn Castle, Germany in 2007.

  • IPA Seminars - Gimborn 2008 
    Information on all Themes and Dates of Seminars being held in Gimborn Castle, Germany in 2008.
    Participation is open to all members who can register and pay the necessary costs.

    IPA Ireland funds the participation of eight members at Seminars in Gimborn Castle each year. 
    Vice President Paul Mangan received 32 applications for selection to attend Seminar scholarships to Gimborn Castle , Germany in 2008.  At the 08/01/08 meeting of the IPA Cultural Commission there was a draw for the eight places funded by Section Ireland and the following members have been awarded free travel, tuition and accommodation at the seminars of their choice.

    Seminar No  08/05 -25th Feb to 29th Feb 08 - Anti-Social Behaviour

  • Video Competition 
    A video competition organised by The Hobbies Secretary is currently underway.
    Prizes totalling almost E2,000 are being offered for the winner and runners up.
    To take part in this competition, send your entry to 13,Iona Drive, Glasnevin, Dublin 9,
    marked Video Competition.
    Videos can be up to 15 minutes long and can be submitted on any subject and in any format. 
    Videos will be judged on content and technical merit including visual impact, sound quality, special effects and editing.
    ****Closing date for this competition is now 31st March 2008.

  • International Photographic Competition
    Hosted by the New Zealand Section on behalf of the
              International Cultural Commission 
                                    of the 
                   International Police Association

     GENERAL CATEGORY FOR AWARDS:

     Open  Category

     a)         Any photographic subject or topic.

     Subject Category

    b)         Police at work.

    A prize of CHF.400 will be awarded to the overall winner.  CHF.300 will be given to the winner of each Category, with second and third placing awards.  
    There will also be a separate Photo – Journalism award in each Category.
