The National Travel Secretary oversees the licensing and administration side of IPA Travel and is a member of the Social Commission of IPA Ireland Section.
The National Travel Secretary organises Group Tours to different destinations each year. These Tours usually are run in conjunction with an IPA event in the country being visited.
So there is not only a chance to see another country as a tourist but to meet with local police and hopefully make friends or contacts if you ever wished to visit again. Another advantage of this is that these contacts may be of professional assistance to you or a colleague in the future.
